Telefónica Tech has launched a new Cisco Webex Calling solution for business users in Spain, Peru and Chile.
In an expansion of the enterprise’s portfolio of digital services, Telefónica Tech has commercialised Webex Calling in Spain, Peru and Chile to allow companies to transition from traditional telephone systems and local switchboards to a cloud-based alternative. This cloud solution ensures continuous platform updates, optimising costs while providing unparalleled availability and quality of service.
Alberto Sempere, Director of Services, Innovation and Partnerships at Telefónica Tech, said:
The launch of ‘Webex Calling’ reinforces our partnership with Cisco and underlines our commitment to facilitating companies with new ways of working thanks to technology. ‘Webex Calling’ will allow our clients to stay connected and collaborate in an inclusive, efficient, secure and integrated way with their processes.”
Webex Calling serves over 14 million users globally, with Telefónica Tech underlining its excellent collaboration experience with built-in default security and additional AI capabilities. It optimises hybrid work setups from any location on any device while ensuring reliable connectivity and voice communications through the Telefónica network.
Webex Calling extends its offerings with advanced customer service functionalities, including the Webex Attendant Console, simplifying the management of high call volumes, lines, queues, and agent statuses.
The solution also empowers IT managers and client admins to provision and oversee worker devices through the ‘Webex Control Hub’, encouraging real-time analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
“Mobility is at the forefront of an organisation’s collaboration strategy. Organisations want to ensure they have the technologies to connect employees from anywhere and on any mobile device,” added Kristyn Hogan, VP of Global Collaboration Partner Sales at Cisco. “Webex Calling complements Telefónica Tech’s managed services offering with high-quality cloud calls integrated with other hybrid work solutions.”
The commercialisation of Telefónica Tech’s Webex by Cisco solutions range is completed with the introduction of Webex Calling. This comprehensive suite now encompasses ‘Webex App’, ‘Webex Meetings’, ‘Webex Messaging’, and Cisco equipment tailored for workspace transformation.
